The Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine will be taking over Texas on September 3, 2021!
We are bringing the party to the great state of Texas prior to the Allstate Kickoff Classic at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. We invite you to join us for a recruitment and alumni reception as we look forward to being back together face to face!
The College of Veterinary Medicine will be hosting alumni and prospective students at the 81 Club at Billy Bob’s Texas in the stockyards of Fort Worth. We will provide a BBQ dinner and drinks complimentary to all that attend. This come-and-go event will take place from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. This is an informal event, so wear your K-State attire and let’s pack Texas with purple!
Do you know someone that you believe would be a great candidate for veterinary school at K-State? Bring them with you, or even invite them to attend without you! Members of our admissions team will be present to meet and greet prospective students, along with Dr. Bonnie Rush, Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, our new “Wellness On Wheels” Shelter Medicine vehicle, and current students.
Have you purchased tickets to the game yet? If not, enter your name in the drawing for two complimentary tickets to Saturday’s game! You must be registered by August 15th in order to be entered into the drawing. A winner will be drawn and announced on Monday, August 16th.
RSVP to let us know that you are coming to join us. We want to be sure to have enough food and drink for all that attend. We look forward to seeing you at Billy Bob’s Texas on September 3rd!
