After postponing for a year, it is time for your class reunion! Join your classmates and alumni from other classes at the reunion activities the Alumni Office has planned on Saturday, September 25th! Due to postponements from last year, we are combining all classes ending in 0's, 1's, 5's and 6's. It is shaping up to be a good sized reunion!
We have decided to have our reunion event on a day that there is an away football game. That Saturday provides us with some fantastic opportunities to showcase all of the changes at the college and allow us to host all of you onsite at the veterinary medicine complex. We will gather at the complex 2 hours before kickoff of the football game for a tailgating style celebration!
With this event being centered around the football game, we will not be able to set the time for our gathering until game time is announced. Best case scenario, we will know game time a couple of weeks before. Worst case scenario, we won't learn the game time until the Monday of game week. In addition to gathering for the football game, this event will feature a few alumni awards and an update of the College of Veterinary Medicine in the last 5 years and what direction we are headed in the future by Dean Bonnie Rush. The awards presentations will begin an hour and a half before game time.
In addition to gathering at the NEW Boehringer Ingelheim Auditorium, we will provide tours of the College of Veterinary Medicine. This event will be a casual tailgate attire celebration. Wear your K-State best!
The Alumni and Events Office will provide a full meal, drinks, games, activities, and a watch party in multiple locations throughout the complex. Food and drink will be available throughout the duration of your time with us. Class specific tables will be available and class photos will be taken during the event.
